2806 Cowell Student Health Center Expansion & Seismic Improvements

This project includes the renovation and construction of an addition to the student health services facility including clinical services, urgent care services, health education, personal counseling, and administrative spaces. The proposed expansion may increase the gross square footage of the building by approximately 30%. Proposed expansion may include a second-story addition comprised of lightweight construction materials to minimize seismic mass. Seismic renovations may include new and retrofitted concrete shear walls, braced frames, foundation modifications and upgrades.
